About us

Margarita is a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist with a degree in Nutrition (BSc Hons) from the University of Surrey – UK which was followed by a degree in Dietetics (BSc Hons) from the University of Plymouth – UK

She is registered with the Health Professions Council and the Cyprus Dietetic and Nutrition Association.

She has wide experience both within the NHS and as a freelance dietitian, which enables her to provide maximum nutritional support to those who are interested in improving their diet and health in general.

She also collaborates with the University of Nicosia as a mentor for students during their clinical dietetics placement which takes place in various settings, such as hospitals, nursing homes and rehabilitation centres. 

She is a well-organized, reliable and enthusiastic health professional, with a strong biological/medical background and education. During her studies she focused in the prevention/treatment of pathological conditions such as Diabetes, Coronary Heart Disease, Renal failure, Cancer, and many more.

She has undertaken 2 research projects, one on the use of nutritional supplements and the other on the role of functional foods on cholesterol levels of renal transplant patients.

Margarita has a unique approach to her practice and provides guidance and advice that is realistic and easy to follow. 

Margarita is fluent in Greek and English.
